Fletcher and Munson

With some tests about the frequency range Benjamin is using a low tone of 100 Hz. and a highest tone of 1750 Hz.
Doing some research I found that in this range the volume is kind of linear for a human ear.
My hypotheses is that a volume change is very disturbing for a shooter.
